There is something about camping in the Adirondacks that makes me hunger for breakfast sandwiches in the morning. My girlfriend and I woke up early and drove up from Lewey Lake to Indian Lake and were happy to see the Pig II Deli open for breakfast. A small deli restaurant with a few tables for sit down eating, we were served by the amazingly friendly owner. Our sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches were above average and came out quickly. Ended up being a little more expensive than we expected but for fresh made breakfast in the middle of the Adirondacks I'll take a little hit and enjoy the hell out of my egg sandwich.

Family owned little deli with just a handful of tables. They do a pretty basic breakfast and lunch menu, thus far I've only had breakfast. I'll update my review once I try them on for lunch.
Prices are very reasonable and the owners are very friendly and are actually servers as well. Both husband and wife work the front and back of the house (though this is a very, very small house). I ordered a big breakfast of 2 eggs (ordered over medium but received over easy; pretty typical when I order over medium), home fries, sausage patty, and two pancakes (all for $7.50). It was a lot of food and I wished they'd brought the pancakes on a separate plate. This was the first time I can remember ordering a big breakfast and having ALL of it served on one plate. If you order the big breakfast ask for the pancakes on the side. The one owner asked me if I wanted butter on the pancakes, and of course I did, so he they threw a couple pats on for me. Syrup was the same you get pretty much anywhere else.
This breakfast was fine, but nothing memorable. The pancakes were the best part by far and when I return for breakfast, I'll likely just get pancakes and sausage as the home fries weren't crispy at all and I didn't get very many of them.
My sister ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll (bagel sammiches are not an option) and she said it was just okay, nothing great. Cost was 5 dollars. It looked to me like it needed twice as much bacon, so you might want to ask for extra bacon if you order one.
Coffee was blah, but to be expected. Refills were plentiful and frequent.
Options are extremely limited in Indian Lake for eating out, so adjust your expectations for varitey and quality accordingly and you'll be just fine. -

I LOVE The PIG! Craig makes a great Breakfast til 10:30... then there's a wide Variety of Lunch Fare... Soups, Sandwiches, Specials and Take-Away Dinners. Nice Selection of Pastries, too! If you want to know whats goin' on in Indian Lake be a regular, even for one day!
